Configurable Data Destruction Shredder for HDDs, SSDs, and Flash Media

The XpressS10 delivers industrial-grade data destruction for both mechanical spinning hard disk drives (HDDs) and solid-state drives (SSDs). Built for performance, security, and flexibility, it is available in two models: the XpressS10 Standard (7.5 HP) and the XpressS10 PRO (10 HP). Clients can fully configure each system at the time of order to meet specific application and security needs.

DIN 66399 Compliance

The XpressS10 shredders meet multiple DIN 66399 data destruction standards depending on the selected configuration and shred width:

• H-2 to H-4 – For mechanical hard disk drives (HDDs)
• E-3 – For solid-state drives (SSDs), USB flash drives, memory cards
• T-1 – For magnetic tapes, backup cartridges
• O-2 – For optical media such as DVDs and CDs

DIN security level compliance depends on selected shred width and media type. For example, smaller shred widths (e.g., 3/8" or 3/4") align with higher DIN levels.

Customizable Configurations Include:

• 3.5" and 2.5" HDD shredding only
• HDD + SSD combo shredding (2.5", U.2, U.3 SSDs)
• HDD + SSD + small media shredding, supporting:
  • M.2 NVMe / SATA SSDs
  • USB flash drives
  • Memory cards
  • Cell phones, DVDs, backup tapes, and e-waste

Each shredder is equipped with dual cutting chambers, featuring dedicated infeed chutes and individual shred widths:

• The SSD/Flash media side reduces devices to 3/8" (10mm) particles, effectively destroying embedded memory chips.
• The HDD side shreds mechanical drives to a standard 1.5" (40mm) particle size, with the XpressS10 PRO offering optional 1" (25mm) and 3/4" (20mm) configurations for higher security needs.

Note: All batteries must be removed prior to shredding.

Performance at a Glance

Manufactured in the USA, the XpressS10 is built on a slow-speed, high-torque dual-shaft platform, suitable for both stationary installations and mobile truck integration. All models include a standard output conveyor and locking casters for mobility. The XpressS10 PRO STAND configuration features a drop-down discharge with support for an optional infeed conveyor. The PRO STAND also includes a reinforced drivetrain, oversized cutters and shafts, and upgraded bearings to tackle today’s denser, high-capacity hard drives.
